Im a L2 player but I went to EB and saw GW and ask the guy about it.So I went ahead and got the preorder package.I have not played yet but so far I'm loving what I see and read.How many of you out there are L2 players that will be checking the game out?

I enjoyed L2, but my character was "hacked" and that was that for me. [Lvl 44 PR, full drake + light crossbow

That means you either downloaded a key logger or gave someone your password.

If you were actually hacked, then thats a badly secured game.

Hey hey everyone!! Myself and a friend of mine came to GW from L2, Gustin server. We are bringing over a few more great people from that server as well. We just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there from Gustin. I was NavAzzCrack then BobSr (Prophet). My buddy with me now was NavGladiator (Gladiator). We'd love to hear from you guys and get some parties together sometime! We have a Ventrillo Server for voice chat and would love to have you there with us! Would be nice to share old war stories, etc and maybe all get a guild together.

Yeah, I got tired of the L2 community and the grind. I wanna pvp often, not once every 2 weeks if my clan decides that they want to particiapte in the seige or not.

Does anyone play this game? Can you explain exactly what it is, and how it compares to Guild Wars? It looks very similar, so I'm not sure what NCSoft is trying to accomplish with this game. Thanks.

Lineage 2:
it's about leveling your character.. you'll get bored leveling.. story is kinda sucky for as far as there is one, skills look a lot alike, character jobs are the same
i.e. spellhowler is juz the same as another spellhowler.. except for the gear..
pvp is sucky..

Guildwars:
good story
level doesn't matter much since you'll level anyways
skills are ace
versatility in characters
2 professions
cool quests
good pvp

Guildwars is just A LOT better

I use to play Lineage2. The only real thing you got to know about it before you hop in is 1. You will have to spend your whole life trying to get your guy to high lvls or.... 2. This game is no hold bars PVP you will get ganked and you will get ganked repeatedly unless you are high lvl even then you still will get ganked if you don't roll with a nice size group of friends.

Lineage 2 is just one big ass grind, with people ganking each other in an on-line pissing contest. It's the definition of the non-skilled game. Whoever has the most time to level their character will beat someone who has like, 10 less hours per week.

And you will get ganked.

You can't walk down the street without someone who spent 5000 hours more than you ganking you because they can.

You can't go to any cool places because the money farmers will kill you in a heartbeat because your interupting their business.

You can't save up and buy a cool item really quickly because then everyone will claim you bought it off of ebay and kill you for doing so.
